Sunday 26th May
Mix of easing, leftover E'ly swell and a building S'ly groundswell. The latter should reach an a'noon peak around 3ft+ at south facing beaches, but it'll much smaller at remaining open beaches due to the swell direction (1-2ft). Expect very long breaks between sets. Clean with light to moderate W/SW winds.
Monday 27th May
Slowly building S'ly swell to 3-4ft+ at most south facing beaches, with bigger sets in the Hunter. Smaller surf at remaining open beaches, reaching 2ft+. Early light SW winds tending moderate S'ly during the day.
Tuesday 28th May
Inconsistent, pulsey south swell, reaching 3-4ft+ at south facing beaches, with bigger sets in the Hunter. Smaller surf at remaining open beaches around 2ft+. Light NW wind tending N/NE during the day and freshening.
Wednesday 29th May
Continuing S'ly swell with inconsistent 3-4ft waves at south facing beaches, bigger in the Hunter. Smaller surf at remaining open beaches, reaching 2ft at times. Wave heights likely to ease during the day. Light to moderate W/NW winds.
Thursday 30th May
Easing S'ly swell to 2ft at south facing beaches, abating into the a'noon. Smaller waves at remaining open beaches around 1ft. Light variable winds.
Weekend Outlook
Easing leftovers Saturday with generally average winds. Better Sunday with offshore winds and a building south swell, but really only favouring the swell magnets.
