Not too shabby today, seems to be a little more consistent than yesterday. Not much at the south end, but the odd 3ft set in the north corner. The problem today is that although the wind will remain offshore all day, the direction later (southwest) will have an adverse effect on the surf locations that are harnessing most of the energy from the south swell. The best waves will be found in the mid to south corners of the open beaches, where conditions should remain relatively clean throughout the day. If you are super keen, a trip over the bridge to a busy city beach could yield a fun clean wave with a little more size. The water is warm, but crikey, the air is feeling cool in the mornings now. Great day for wetsuit shopping.
