More of the same, but a smidge bigger, and a tad cooler. Yes, winter is here. The best waves are confined to the northern end, from north Steyne to Manly point is pretty much just one long close-out. As the tide moves in much later today conditions will improve again...but it's a race against the southerly change, and I reckon we might lose. In truth, reasonable waves to be had at many locations, points and reefs are the pick now. A fair bit more size to be found at the south facing spots. Everyone I spoke to leaving the water this morning remarked at how cold they were. If you don't have a warm wettie, now might be the time to invest.
