E'ly winds being generated by the interaction of a large high located near New zealand and approaching upper level trough have seen some small surf along the Agnes/Wide Bay coast. This fetch is expected to continue to supply small surf in the 1-2ft range as E/ENE winds continue in a broad fetch in the southern Coral Sea. This fetch then gets shunted away to the E as a trough and cold front form a low to the E of Tasmania on Sat, bringing a SW flow and a more winter type pattern to the Coral Sea.

Expect surf to ease into the tiny/flat range over the weekend with the chance of some small rideable waves Sat morning. Tiny/flat surf continues into next week.
