The Surfworld Museum in Torquay will present a special season of the stunning surf documentary EL MAR MI ALMA on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July.

Shot entirely on 16mm the film is a visual love song to the surf-blessed coast of Chile and the people who live and surf there. The film features Dave Rastovich, Ramon Navarro, Dane Ward, Chris Del Moro, Joel Parkinson and Diego Medina. With environmental themes and political undercurrents the film paints a picture of Chile's beauty and association with the sea, centred around the intimate act of surfing. Powerful images of the land are juxtaposed with amazing images of the coast and powerful waves that break along this stretch of coastline.

Surfworld Museum is excited to be showing this beautiful surf film on its new 16:9 fixed screen. Recent updates to the screen and digital video projector mean the museum has the best facilities along the Surf Coast for viewing films in its intimate surfboard lined theatrette.

The film will screen for 2 sessions only at the Surfworld Museum on Saturday 7th July (7.30pm) and Sunday 8th July (2.00pm) Tickets can be purchased at the Surfworld Museum for this rare opportunity to see a great film on our big screen!
