The circus marched into Round 2 of the Rip Curl Pro at Bells today. The surf was a bit slow through the early morning hours yet picked up toward midday, reaching a peak around 4 - 5 feet. The sets pulsed and ebbed - long lulls were followed by 10-wave sets - till the size began to drop off into the afternoon. As the winds began to edge toward the east the organisers once again displayed chivalry allowing the women to have the onshore lineup to themselves.
