The crew at the Mornington Peninsula branch of the Disabled Surfers Association will shortly be holding a free 'train the helper' day. The goal is to train volunteers who can then help disabled people get amongst the waves. It only takes half a day and you will be issued with a Level 1 DSA Train the Helper certificate. They'll even provide a free BBQ lunch.

It's on Saturday 2nd February 9am-2pm at Point Leo Beach. Meet at the lifesaver's club.
