Today I'm pleased to announce a new beginning with my Australian manufactured PU surfboards and surfboard distribution for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

Effectively immediately 'Simon Boards Australia's' new headquarters, warehouse and shaping bay will be located back home on Sydney's Northern Beaches at Mona Vale, just a few kilometres down the hill from my house, and a similar distance from my favourite test arena NN.

It is intended that production of my boards will be both in Sydney and on the Gold Coast where we will use the highest quality materials and manufacturing techniques, and utilize the skills of some of the best craftsman and laminators in the industry.

The new entity 'Simon Boards Australia' formerly known as Walkonwater, will be headed up by long time friend and associate Travis Churchill, who will act as my production and sales manager. Travis and I have worked together previously, initially at Base then more recently in his role with WOW. I'm looking forward to re-kindling this partnership and working closely with him as we further develop the Simon Boards brand.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal supporters, customers and friends and look forward to catching up near future.
