Competition returned to the Bells Bowl for Day 4 of the Rip Curl Pro and the surf was good...for a couple of heats. It deteriorated as the day went on till they had to send the women's out. Parko was the form performer again putting on another 18-point plus heat. He's the lead runner at the moment, though Slater is yet to put a foot wrong and Mick Fanning is burning up the other side of the draw.

Swellnet photographer, Steve Arklay, is still a starstruck grom and today he went a-hunting for his heroes.
