Joined the Seacliff nippers when I was six (gave it up at nine), started surfing when I was eleven, migrated from Dad's single fin to my own 6'0 thruster at twelve. As per most Adelaide surfers, logged an insane amount of highway miles looking for waves. Travelled around overseas a bit, following the surf and the snow, finally settled in Sydney. Began surf forecasting in '98, enrolled in an Earth Science degree at Flinders Uni in '99 to learn more, started regular Swellnet forecasts in 2003. Hope you like the site - we love doing it!
