Regardless of the surfcraft you ride, a quality barrel is hard to top. There's just something about getting deeply slotted that supersedes any carve, hack, air or floater in your repertoire. And there's some parts of the country that offer more barrels per square grain of sand than others - perhaps that's why they're so bloody crowded. One of these spots is Straddie, and during one of the recent east swells Ben Lee set up camp across the Seaway and captured a wide range of incredible pits.. check 'em out. //BEN MATSON
