With the Holy Man of Cocoa Beach on the verge of retirement, Pro Surf worshippers are looking to Providence and placing all their faith in the talents of Dane Reynolds. He's given signs that their faith may be well-placed, though failed to convince the doubters.

Yesterday, in Round Two of the Quiksilver Pro, he went one further step toward exaltation, blazing the Snapper bank with a performance that had the flock on their knees.
