Two days ago, during a freesurf in Rio, Kelly Slater pulled a huge Alley Oop. We ran footage of that move on our Facebook page but unfortunately the filmer pulled the footage off all social media sites. Today Stab.com ran a short interview with Slater and questioned him about the move: was it the biggest Alley Oop he's ever pulled?

"I did one at Bells" he said, "in the expression session that I haven't seen on video, but it felt just as high and I landed cleaner."

This is the sequence of that move. To this punter's eyes it's not as high as the Rio oop, although it's a much smoother touchdown.
