When the Rip Curl comp moved to Winkipop during Day 3 it was an opportunity for the Bells Legends (read: crusty old blokes) and freesurfing pros to hook into the Bells Bowl. Amongst them were Tom Curren, a Tom Curren impersonator on a Black Beauty, plus Terry Fiz, Martin Pottz, Adriano and Mick Fanning too.

Karl Bromelow travelled from the Mornington Peninsula only to be denied a viewing platform for Winki. Instead he trained his camera on the bowl and got these shots for us.
