Hey Swellnet gang, heading to G-land and wonder what travel insurance is good value? Really only interested in the medical side of things (medivac). Any advice would be great!

Cover More. They're the only one I've ever had to call in after an incident - actually, during an incident - and they provided exactly the service they promised.

Check if your credit card has free travel insurance if you used one to book with.

Another plus one for Covermore. Swapped to them after WorldNomads, mostly because that's what my workplace used at the time. My current one does too actually.

Sidenote - whenever I meet someone who isn't planning to get travel insurance, I tell them the story of the bloke who snapped his femur at Speedies and had a very hectic and very expensive evac back to Australia, covered by his insurance he got at the last minute for $99. I can be a bit of a dirtbag in lots of ways, but I never go to Indo without insurance.
